Our advice: ask the GGD or your doctor whether further vaccinations are needed for this country. But for the visa application is the vaccination against yellow fever sufficient.

After we have collected your passport (with the visa), you can collect your passport from us or we will send it to you.

Tips and explanation
About having your diploma legalized, if applicable:
- If you have to have your diploma legalized at the DUO, we recommend that you do this yourself. If we do that for you, it can take up to an additional 2 weeks. Maybe you can do that yourself faster?
About all other legalizations or translations:
- We can ensure that all documents are legalized or translated for you.
This is how we work:
Legalization
The legalization of official documents is a procedure to make certain documents usable and valid in countries other than the issuing country. Authorities in one country know for sure that the document from another country is official and legal.
The legalization of the official documents themselves relates to the finding that a document has been issued by a competent person and that the signature on the document indeed belongs to the signatory (the person who applies for the legalization). In practice, a whole series of signatures is sometimes required from authorities who are aware of each other’s powers. This is called a legalization chain. For example, a signature from the court may be required before we can legalize this document at a ministry.
For each required ‘step’ in this legalization chain, € 25 excl. the VAT will be charged.
We offer our services for the following organizations:
- A.) The consulate
- B.) At various Dutch ministries
- C.) The court
- D.) The lawyer
- E.) The notary
- F.) The sworn translator
The rate of € 25 is therefore calculated per step and not per document to be legalized. In addition, we calculate the costs incurred per copy on the invoice.
