After acceptance of the visa application by the consulate: an average of 5 working days

Indian and Dutch national holidays do not count as working days.

Please note that at this time, when you apply for a business or tourist visa for five years, the applicant must pre-pay for the visa. The problem now is that there is a chance that the consulate will not issue the five-year visa. If you apply for a 5-year visa and only get a visa from the diplomat for a few months, the consulate will not refund the amount. I.e. we will not get the amount for a 5-year visa back, you still have to pay the amount to us. Therefore our advice is not to apply for a 5-year visa but a shorter visa so that you do not lose too much money on a visa that you do not get.

The documents that are required for your visa

  • Your passport.
  • We need to have the passport physically, so no copy.
  • Your passport must still be valid for at least 6½ months after the validity of the visa (ie one and a half year valid if it is an annual visa).
  • The passport must have at least two blank facing visa pages.
  • A copy of the passport of the applicant
  • Note that you also need to provide the original passport as requested on this page
  • The order form, click here to open
  • Please fill in this form digitally, print it and sign it
  • The application form. Click here to be linked to the website of the Indian Ministry.
  • On the site, you must click on the orange tab that says ‘Regular Visa Application.’
  • After completing the online application form, you must print it and sign it twice
  • At the top right of the first form, you place your first signature
  • At the bottom right of the second form, you put your second signature
  • The signature is only valid with dark blue or black ink.
  • You may only print the application form in black or blue colors
  • Click here to print, fill in and sign
  • Write down your first name and surname
  • Birthplace
  • Date of birth
  • Full address (street name, house number, city, and country)
  • phone number
  • E-mail address
  • State the date and place at the bottom of the page
  • Please sign at the bottom right
  • Two colored passport pictures. The photos have different size: 5 cm x 5 cm (1.97-inch x 1.97-inch)
  • The correct distance for taking the photo is up to the curve of the shoulders
  • The consulate does not accept the photo with bare shoulders
  • Note that this photo must conform to the ‘passport photo’ standard, that is, look to the front, do not show teeth, in color, white background.
  • Nine out of ten times, the consulate does not accept a photo from your printer.
  • If you do this, make sure you use glossy paper and that there are no visible lines of the print.
  • Please note, the photos must have a white background. The consulate does not accept light gray or light blue background.
  • It should be possible to apply for a five year visa. You pay the consulate to judge over a 5-year visa, but in practice, we see that applicaticants receive a maximum of a multiple entries of one year, and sometimes only for six months or even three months. The money paid for the assessment (-/or application for the visa) will not be refunded. So our advice is to apply for a maximum of 1-year multiple entry visa so that you do not lose too much money.

You work at the police, you are a soldier or at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, you need:

  • An English-language employer’s statement
  • The work employment statement must be printed on your company’s letter paper or with a authority stamp
  • A manager or director must sign the work employment statement
  • The name of the manager or director
  • The job description of the manager or director
