The documents that are required for your visa

Processing of your visa application:

  • You send all the needed documents below to us
  • We check all documents at the consulate of Angola
  • After the embassy has approved the needed documents for the visa, we will make an appointment for you at the consulate
  • After your appointment for the biometrics at the embassy, we check daily whether the embassy has issued your visa from Angola
  • Once the government approved the visa, we will collect your passport with the visa inside of it
  • After we have the passport in our possession again, you can pick up your passport from us or we will send it back or we can also leave it at Schiphol.

  • Everything you write on it on the order form will appear on the invoice
  • Please, fill in your address completely, such as your street name, house number, postcode and city. We need the full address for the invoicing and return address
  • We will need your e-mail address for when your visa application has been accepted by the consulate, we will send you an invoice by e-mail the same day.
  • You must transfer the invoice amount to us on the same day with I-Deal or bank transfer so that we have the amount on our bank before we collect your passport with a visa at the consulate.
  • Your telephone number or numbers where we can always reach you in case your documents are not complete or when the diplomat wants to view additional documents.

  • This is the original application form that the consulate uses for its visa procedure
  • Please print out and place your signature on the last page, the colors of the print may only be black or dark blue. Other colors are not allowed

  • Your passport.
  • We need to have the passport physically, so no copy.
  • Your passport must still be valid for at least 6½ months after the validity of the visa (ie one and a half year valid if it is an annual visa).
  • The passport must have at least two blank facing visa pages.
  • One color passport photo.
  • Note that these photos are according to the Dutch standard of ‘passport photo’, that is to say, looking forward, white background, do not laugh and do not show teeth.
  • Wearing glasses in the photo is not permitted
  • Nine times out of ten, the consulate does not accept a photo from your own printer. If you do so, make sure you use gloss paper and there are no stripes visible from the print.
  • Do not staple the photo to the application form, but rather use a Pritt stick. If you do not have a Pritt stick, please include your loose photo and we will attach it to the form for you.
  • Do not stick the photos with adhesive tape

Other conditions that you must pay extra attention to:

  • The photos may not be older than 3 months
  • The photos may not be the same as on the passport unless the passport is not older than 3 months
  • The photos must have a white background.
  • A copy of the passport of the applicant
  • Note that you also need to provide the original passport as requested on this page
  • Proof of means of subsistence, such as a bank statement, the applicant must prove that he has an equivalent of $ 200.00 per day of stay, in Angola.

For the visa application, you must be vaccinated against yellow fever. You must enclose a copy of the yellow booklet, within the valid stamp that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.

Our advice: ask the GGD or your doctor whether further vaccinations are needed for this country. But for the visa application is the vaccination against yellow fever sufficient.

  • A booking confirmation of your flight (return ticket)

  • You receive the visa only for the number of days you book a hotel.
  • You need a hotel confirmation for all the days you stay in the country

Letter Requirements:

  • The letter must be addressed to the Consulate General in Rotterdam
  • Written in English or Portuguese
  • The signed date cannot be older than three months before the visa application is processed
  • Signed by the applicant

The letter must contain:

  • Personal data of the applicant: name, passport number, etc.
  • Purpose of the visit to Angola
  • Dates of planned stay and place of residence of the applicant in Angola
