Dutch passport: ESTA or a visa
Short tourism or business up to 90 days: ESTA. That is not a visa sticker and not visa-free travel. Longer, no ESTA, or another purpose: a visa. Nonimmigrant interview in Amsterdam. The Hague does not issue visas. Immigrant, fiancé(e) (K) and DV: Frankfurt (since May 2024). The interview belongs in the country where you live or hold nationality. The visa fee is not refunded and not transferred. Another EU consulate is not a faster route. You go to the consulate yourself; we do not book the appointment for you. Diversity Visa issuance is paused. That is not a pause of all visa appointments.
VisumService now only handles ESTA for the USA. For a visa (sticker or interview in Amsterdam) you go yourself; no VisumService visa fee, no appointment booked by us.

ESTA is not a visa sticker. A visa interview is in Amsterdam. Since 1 October 2025 the interview waiver is narrower; under 14 and 79 or older are no longer exempt.
