What is the Indonesia e-VOA?

The e-VOA is the electronic version of the Visa on Arrival (visa type B1), applied for online before you travel, so you skip the VOA counter. Buying a regular VOA on arrival is also possible; stay and fee are the same.

  • Purpose: tourism, business meeting, goods purchasing, government visit or transit. Work is not allowed.
  • Bali is part of Indonesia; the e-VOA covers the whole country.
  • Everyone needs their own e-VOA, including babies and children.
  • Data must match the passport exactly; nothing can be changed after submission.
  • Overstay leads to a daily fine and, for long overstays, deportation or an entry ban.
