Visa exemption via Minsk International Airport

• For tourists, business, private, and study up to 30 days, you do not need a visa for Belarus when you visit Belarus via the Minsk International Airport.
• You must arrive and depart via Minsk National Airport.
• You must apply for a visa in advance in the Netherlands for all other border crossings.

Flights to and from Russia, via Minsk National Airport

• The visa-free rule does not apply to flights from and to Russia via Minsk National Airport!
• If via Minsk International Airport, you are flying to Russia – or arrived from Russia (also in a transfer and even with a temporary stay in Belarus), the visa-free rule of 30 days via Minsk National Airport does not apply!

What do you need when you arrive at Minsk International Airport

• A valid passport. The passport must still be valid for at least four months after departure from Belarus
• Allow sufficient funds for your stay through a bank statement, credit card, or cash. You can count on € 50 per day visit.
• A statement in English, from your health insurance policy, that you are covered in Belarus for a minimum of € 10,000. Your name must be stated, the date of arrival, and departure from Belarus and signed by the insurer.

 You must register if you are staying in Belarus for longer than 5 days

• When and in a hotel or any other similar residence, you will be registered by them
• If you are staying at a private address, you must register at a local police station
