The processing of the visa at the consulate is 4 working days.
Urgent service is possible. The processing will be 3 working days and for the urgent service, you pay € 20.- extra per visa.
With the tourist / private visa single entrance you have a maximum stay of 30 days in Togo.
The visa has a 1-month issue date. You must, therefore, have entered Togo within 1 month.
If you have a tourist / private multiple entry visa, the visa is valid for 3 months, with 90 days of visit.
Please note that national holidays in Togo and Belgium do not count as working days.

- Your passport.
- We need to have the passport physically, so no copy.
- Your passport must still be valid for at least 6½ months after the validity of the visa (ie one and a half year valid if it is an annual visa).
- The passport must have at least two blank facing visa pages.
- 3 color passport photos.
- Note that these photos are according to the Dutch standard of ‘passport photo’, that is to say, looking forward, white background, do not laugh and do not show teeth.
- Wearing glasses in the photo is not permitted
- Nine times out of ten, the consulate does not accept a photo from your own printer. If you do so, make sure you use gloss paper and there are no stripes visible from the print.
- Do not staple the photo to the application form, but rather use a Pritt stick. If you do not have a Pritt stick, please include your loose photo and we will attach it to the form for you.
- Do not stick the photos with adhesive tape
Other conditions that you must pay extra attention to:
- The photos may not be older than 3 months
- The photos may not be the same as on the passport unless the passport is not older than 3 months
- The photos must have a white background.
- A copy of the passport of the applicant
- Note that you also need to provide the original passport as requested on this page
- A booking confirmation of your flight (return ticket)
- The consulate wants to see when you enter the country and go out again
- It may be a booking for a flight, bus, train, boat
- Your name must be mentioned on it
- The consulate must recognize the confirmation as being that it comes from a travel agency or an airline.
- A confirmation of a flight by a customer of your will not be accepted because the consulate will say that anyone can do this. Think of logos, photos or other features that an official confirmation of an airline by mail in general meets
- Our advice, make sure you take out cancellation insurance when purchasing your flight. In the event that you do not receive your visa, you will not suffer any financial
If you are staying in a hotel; a legalized hotel reservation;
- The hotel reservation must be legalized by the local authorities. You can request this at your hotel.
- The hotel reservation must be signed and stamped by the hotel manager.
or
If you are staying with family/friends, a legalized invitation + copy of the inviter’s passport.
The invitation must state;
- Indicate the name and address of the inviting party.
- Provide the full name of the applicant + passport details.
- Containing a so-called ‘Pris en charge’: The inviting party takes responsibility for the stay and the (un)costs of the traveller.
- Have been legalized by the local authorities.
- Be written in French.
For the visa application, you must be vaccinated against yellow fever. You must enclose a copy of the yellow booklet, within the valid stamp that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.
Our advice: ask the GGD or your doctor whether further vaccinations are needed for this country. But for the visa application is the vaccination against yellow fever sufficient.

If you are Dutch, you do not need additional documents.

For the EU or Schengen country nationalities:
If nationality comes from an EU or Schengen country (not for a Dutch passport), you must show that you are registered in the Netherlands.
You have two options;
- Option 1: a copy of the front- and backside of your residence permit.
- Option 2: a copy of the extract from the population register (GBA).
3.)
Other nationalities from outside the EU or Schengen countries:
- You need a copy of your Dutch residence permit’s front- and back-side for all nationalities from outside the EU and Schengen countries.
