Thailand processing days:
Standard procedure: 3-7 working days (or longer!)
Urgent is not possible.
Thai and Dutch national holidays do not count as working days.
Please note the diplomat is authorized to request additional documents for your visa application, which may cause a delay in your visa application.
A multiple entry visa for one year: the visa is valid for one year, but keep in mind that you can stay for a maximum of 90 days per visit! So if you want to stay longer, you have to extend your visa at the Immigration office in Bangkok. If the immigration officer does not wish to extend your visa, you must leave the country.
The documents that are required for your visa
Insurance for the Non-immigrant visa
A special insurance is required for the non-immigrant visa. This must be an English-language declaration, otherwise it will not be accepted. The following text must be included explicitly mention in the declaration:
- Outpatient benefit with a sum insured not less than 40,000 THB or 1,300 EUR
- Inpatient benefit with a sum insured of not less than 400,000 THB or 13,000 EUR
- Cover all medical expenditures including COVID-19 for at least 100,000 USD
An example of an insurer that meets these requirements is OOM Insurance: https://www.oomverzekeringen.nl/. Of course, you may also choose another or Thai insurers that meet these requirements.
- Your passport.
- We need to have the passport physically, so no copy.
- Your passport must still be valid for at least 6½ months after the validity of the visa (ie one and a half year valid if it is an annual visa).
- The passport must have at least two blank facing visa pages.
- One color passport photo.
- Note that these photos are according to the Dutch standard of ‘passport photo’, that is to say, looking forward, white background, do not laugh and do not show teeth.
- Wearing glasses in the photo is not permitted
- Nine times out of ten, the consulate does not accept a photo from your own printer. If you do so, make sure you use gloss paper and there are no stripes visible from the print.
- Do not staple the photo to the application form, but rather use a Pritt stick. If you do not have a Pritt stick, please include your loose photo and we will attach it to the form for you.
- Do not stick the photos with adhesive tape
Other conditions that you must pay extra attention to:
- The photos may not be older than 3 months
- The photos may not be the same as on the passport unless the passport is not older than 3 months
- The photos must have a white background.

- An invitation letter from the Thai company, this letter may be sent to you by e-mail in pdf.
- A copy of the Thai passport of the inviting party
1.) Please note, the name and person of the passport must be the same person who invited the invitation letter!
2.) In case the person you invite is a foreigner, you also need the permit of that person. If that person does not have the right property, he can not invite you.

- A copy of the official registration of the inviting Thai company. The Thai company may send this to you in pdf by e-mail.
- A financial annual statement as stated in the Thai tax (statement of income tax and business tax: Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30) of the last year.
- Proof of tax payment (Value-added tax registration, Por Por 20)
- Please note, we regularly receive this registration from Thai companies where only the first page and last page are sent. The consulate of Thailand only accepts registration from the Thai company where all pages are present!

- A booking confirmation of your flight (return ticket)
- The consulate wants to see when you enter the country and go out again
- It may be a booking for a flight, bus, train, boat
- Your name must be mentioned on it
- The consulate must recognize the confirmation as being that it comes from a travel agency or an airline.
- A confirmation of a flight by a customer of your will not be accepted because the consulate will say that anyone can do this. Think of logos, photos or other features that an official confirmation of an airline by mail in general meets
