To apply for a pocket visa, you need several documents to upload:

• 1. A color passport photo.
  2. Please note that this photo is according to the Dutch standard of “passport photo,” i.e., looking ahead, white or light background, no smiling, and no teeth showing.
  3. The photo must be a JPG file no larger than 1 MB
  4. The photo must not be older than 3 months.
  5. The photo may not be the same as on the passport unless the passport is not older than 3 months.
  6. The photo must have a white background.
• A copy of your birth certificate
• An invitation letter or registration from the Barbuda school
• A statement from you about what you are going to do: click here to open an example
• A copy of your passport’s information page is
• a copy of your flight booking. The booking must not be a one-way flight. You must also have a return flight or a flight to a subsequent destination.
• If you are arriving by cruise ship, not an airplane, please make the cruise ship booking with the schedule of the entire trip. If you arrive by cruise ship, you must also have a departure date on the booking.
• A hotel booking, or an invitation letter from the private address where you are staying. For a personal address, also provide a copy of the passport or ID card of the person you are inviting. If it is a foreigner where you are staying, then a copy of the passport and residence permit.
• A copy of your bank statement with your name and sufficient balance: € 2000 per month stay
• A copy of the extract from the population register: an extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP)
• If you also have a residence permit from the country where you live, you can also copy the front and back.
